Shunned from light

Abandoned ignored

Unconscionable plight

Where is my Lord

Taken from day

Thrown into night

Keys given away

Locked out of sight

Ailing and wounded

Sick and in need

Left disillusioned

Battered to bleed

Bitter this falling

Knowing what has past

What of my calling

Has God forlorned my task

Destroyed within

All is so black

Gazing so cringe

Was it teaching I lacked…
