Hours wear on days to weeks endless and long
Looking from outside never accepted as they
Different in spirit heart and thoughts every way
Carry on no matter how heavy the weigh
The purpose of God by His will and sake

Living inside no thought or care
Away from the masses the anger and fear
Living within a peaceful reside
When the outside is painful retreat and hide
Compassion and kindness is all I seek
When outside has none inside I shall be

Is there a way amidst chaos to live
Just existing smothers the soul
Head above water strive to be more
Undertow current run swift and unseen
Resist all temptation forge on with your dream

Isolation of sorrow no will to go on
Castle walls of indifference standing so tall
Murk waters of sadness encircle around
All compassion in searching nowhere to be found
Entombed in this fortress imprisons the soul
Banished forever an eternity and more

Another world to escape leave everything behind
A shelter of hope within in the own mind
Verse of the humble serenity in prose
Feelings of all wonders the heart shall compose
Safe to be free with everything to feel
My shelter of hope in peace is made real
