Portrait to paint
Image with reason
Shadows with doubt

Fade into after
Before it began
Confined in present
Acceptance demand..

I have found that I meet and greet people during the day. At night as I review my days affairs they come to me as mere portraits, whispers, faint with shadows. Not sure if this is what you are writing about, it is how I read it.:)
