The Other Side of Dreaming

Falling through some sunken land
Or soaring 'cross the sky
The highway lends a helping hand
To take us home, before we die

Yet then again, perhaps awoken
Hearts still swimming through the dream
The bitter, sweet, subconcious ocean
Divided into golden streams

And though some may suggest it so
That strange new worlds expire
When through the waking door we tread
And from our trance retire

There hangs a possibility
That something left behind
Can paint a starlit picture
In the corner of your mind

Now, my friend you must remember
All those pure, nocturnal vows
As you kiss the dying embers
You may boldly take a bow

Still spare a thought for those in doubt
They cannot fathom where you've been
Their hearts and minds must go without
The hope and beauty in a dream

Good job, makes me want to go dream

Beautiful words, great work, very captivating.
