This place is what we wished for,
A home that became more like an obsession.
We packed our dreams into the walls
And write our story on the floorboards
With each passing day.

Success means something different to us.
There's a sad silence
Kept sacred for occassions like
Opening the mail
And answering the phone.

But how loud my heart wants to scream!
How intense is the itch in my legs
When I wish to God I could run to you.
I can't convince my mind to ignore your image
Each second I'm not next to you.

That's why I'm writing this.

This is no ordinary house; no average living arrangement.
It's actually the begining of a history-
The first few chapters of a story-
The deciding vote on which a future rests.
Everything we do here matters more looking back.

Where will the rest of our
"Somedays" bring us?
I filled a youth with wishing and you are the result.
I swear I can't breathe when
I think of your "spot" on the couch, and in our bed, in the closet, and in my life.

Hold on tighter and make sure I'm okay.
Because I'm about to jump off this cliff-
Say yes to the future, free-float and fall into our future.
I'm afraid of what it might feel like.
What will we find when we finally hit the bottom?
