Alone in this lonely state of darkness,
Demons circle I wonder when they´ll stop this.
Alone in the deepest darkest pit of hell,
Forever trapped in this dark dungeon cell.
What have I done to get myself here?
Was it the wicked fun, or screams of fear?
The gruesome sights, but light is near.
I feel like a lost ship at sea,
With only a single lighthouse to guide me.
This lighthouse that symbolizes hope,
Hope I won´t sink and make it to shore,
Hope I won´t be alone in the dark anymore.
I´m still here in total darkness unable to escape,
Hope shut me down, and my ship drifts away,
And the light from the house slowly fades,
As the dark waters engulf me in boisterous waves.
The dark clouds and stormy night,
Give me no choice but to live in darkness.
No matter how many times I come close to the light,
The darkness always leaves me hopeless.
And so I sit alone in the dark,
Waiting for life to give more chances.
