i wake while dreaming
i was outside with no clothes
i was crying out
what makes me feel so exposed?
perhaps, the poems i post

I love your tanka form. I was so impressed with your work this morning that I gave it a try and came up with the first one. Since then I have written two more which I will post this evening. It gives you a set structure to work with, and you can put your thoughts within it. I guess I'm a set structure kind of girl.

I first discovered tankas last night. Dave Gibbs wrote his first one, and I loved it. Today he wrote his second. He likes to write in new poetry forms. It's a lot of fun!
