I Am!
I am, I am, I insist,
I'm here for all to see,
And if you fail to see me,
I have not ceased to be.
I love, I hate, I laugh with glee,
I even stop for tea,
And just in case you're wondering,
I even stop to pee.
If ever you and I,
Were to become a we,
Then you can not decree,
That I stop being me.
And if you and I
Were not meant to be,
Then you will still be you,
And I will still be me!

a lilting ride
This is very cute, an little ode to self-esteem with a nice lilt to it. It made me feel like reading some Dr. Suess! I can even picture what some of the illustrations might look like. Keep going and you could have a nice children's book on accepting who you are. Fun -- MS
