My Panda Bear

My panda lives in back of me
His house is my caboose,
It's easy for the world to see
That I can't cut him loose.

One day that bear just snuck right in
And I can't figure how,
He surely got under my skin
And he's my behind now!

Each morning panda snuggles near
As I put on my clothes,
He whispers, 'Don't you worry, dear'
But my butt tears my hose.

I love to drive my red sports car
But panda must go too,
In one small seat we are at war
And short hops have to do.

Could you or someone else you know
Find out if Wendy's free?
She sewed on Peter's shadow, so
She'll unsew one for me!

This was wonderfully rendered and quite humorous. I would never in a million years equated a pandea with a increasing butt. Brilliant.

You friend,

Pete

Thanks, Pete...

I wish I could print the image I have that inspired this poem. It is of the rear end of a little panda bear and it wriggles - it is just precious! Thanks for your wonderful comment - it will get me through the day!

Glad you like it. At least pandas are cute creatures. If I have to have one so near all the time, he might as well be cute! lol
