Sandboxes

I loved sandboxes
My big thrill at three years old
Was to dig a hole.
Now that I'm an older dame
My loud mouth can do the same!

I updated the second line of this poem to include a word I left out in the second line the first time I posted it! That word makes the poem a real tanka, since the art form is always:
5-7-5-7-7
