Poetry Reader- Your Not Alone
Inspired by a stranger,
I know feels incredibly vain,
I get dragged in by their words,
And start to feel all their pain,
I read their art called poetry,
And I know they feel alone,
I see where they're coming from,
Not knowing where to call home,
You're not alone out there,
Someone will feel just like you,
That knows how much you’re hurting,
Because they feel it to,
They may not be your best friend,
They may not be someone you know,
But I promise they are our there,
Because no one is ever alone.

but whoever it is , it is really nice of you to write from your heart to this person.

I read an unbelievable poem yesterday about suicides in the U.K.....
I couldn't believe how well it was written and how undrstanding the writer was towards those people... this poem is for anyone it helps but it's dedicated to the suicidal trends in the U.K...

You had some very nice sentiments in this piece and I'm sure that all of the writers who speak of their individual pain can relate and appreciate your words. Not all poets are abjectly miserable but they do want a receptive ear to the fruits of their labor.

Great Read
Its funny i was speaking about this last night nobody seems to realise that when there hurt or really down that theres amillion other people who feel the same. you put that feeling perfectly into words well done ! I hope whoever this is about realises that soon !

It took me a little time to realize that there are other people in the world feeling just like me.....
I'm only new to this poetry stuff and I'm lucky as I am still in jr high, so I see alot of things around the school that other people don't realize- like for instance, the people who feel like my poem...
I really hope it helps the people who read it, but the only unlucky thing about being 14 and a poet is that your friends don't really appriciate poetry and it's possible that they never will... so the people you want to help the most, you can't reach...

Im 18 and I dont know anyone who likes or writes poetry so its hard to find anyone to comment on it ! So my poetry remains a secret even though its mainly based on the people who surround me its just a shame that even though u wish to help them you cant ! but keep writing your poetry because im sure even if your not aware of it your probably helping more people than you think ! Good work

Councillors at school are always saying, 'Someday you'll help those in need and you will see that everything in your child hood has helped you become who you are today.' I've always admired that quote as it is quite true, no one would be who they are now, if it wasn't for the good times and the bad bumps they had to go through in the past.
I'm considered a tomboy at my school, I'm 1 girl among 7 guys and trying to get them to rate my poetry isn't exactly the easiest of tasks- hahaha.

We're all in this together, KAMS...
Guess that's why a site like this is so popular. We share similar interests plus we share humanity. I think poets are more empathetic than most people which is why they can record feelings so well. Keep up the good work!
