What is love?
I do not know
Though I’ve learned part of it so far
Its smiles and tears
Sharing dreams and fears
And inside it makes you light up and glow
It is perfectly balanced between
Getting carried away
Yet still doing what’s best for one another
It’s a feeling you finally get to run away with
And it puts your heart and head together as one
It’s full of passion and devotion
And never lazy or effortless
It is blessed by God
And in his will
It’s pure of heart
And can make you feel like a child
It brings out a part of you
That no one else can
The part that you that you one day will feel like was missing
Or maybe never knew existed
Love is surprising
And affects all of its victims differently
It changes with time
And is one of the most unattainable goals
Yet highly sought after
Love is the source of inspiration and hope for many
And love transcends time and generations
