Father of mine

I call out to you, sorrow lays in my cries.
I want you to hear the truth from the lies.
I want to know you, for you to be a friend of mine.
There is so much to catch up on if you’d spare the time.

What are your morals? do you share any with I?
Will I see a part of me in your very own eyes?
I don’t want your money, but a little love would be nice.
I don’t want to bring pain, but we each have our own slice.

I want to see you, though I am scared of that time.
To say hello to a stranger, Father of mine.
The woman that joins us, She lives for crime,
The stories she has told you, none worth a dime.

The truth it was a hell of a find.
Wendy lied to you the whole dam time.
I am out for the truth it’s only a matter of time,
Someday I will meet you, Father of mine.
