Joan
September Rain upon my heart,
The weight waiting for me to cart.
Eleven years went so fast,
I swear I thought you were the last.
I wished away the pain for the maternal part,
Smiling as if I didn’t care,
While deep down my soul stood out bare.
Forced to stand out in the cold,
Government believing you were too old.
Paranoia lead strait through the head,
Their lies painted me red.
While they stole what I held so dear,
Just because the truth they fear.
They should have shot me dead,
Instead they gave me a mental trip,
My young heart they took out and ripped.
I was once left without your arms,
I now live to share the knowledge of your charm,
A sweet lady brought up so well,
Saved a small child from the grip of hell.
Joan is a hero, Even if her age has see five zero.
