Yesterday, Today, And Tommorrow
Yesterday I saw a girl
Joyful with her tears
Her daddy just came back from war
It seemed like she hadn't seen him for years
As his steel boots sailed across the floor
He looks at his daughter forgetting those fears
Of all the days and nights he spent
In the Iraq War
Today I read in the news
two men surviving deadly bombs
Their wives exhilarated with joy
'cause both are expecting moms
Whether its a girl or boy
These solders hearts will soar
When the tell of the adventures
In the Iraq War
Tomorrow God will be by your side
Regardless if you see him there
The shadow that follows behind you
Even through the times you don't care
He holds you high for the things you do
No one could ask for more
Of all the Angels he gives you
In the Iraq War

Tears
This made me cry....I have a few friends in Iraq, one has two little babies he hardly even knows one of them cause he was born just before he left. Also my pastors son two and a half years ago died in Iraq after his tank went over bombs they could not see....several who's names I do not know perished with him. This is a very touching poem.
Thank You
I wrote this poem for a soldier, he had lack of faith becuz wat he was going thro in Iraq
He wrote back saying that never b4 in his life has he been more confident in himself
and the work that he is doing
so thank you very much it means so much-truly
