Command and Conquer

Command and conquer, that’s all it’s been
From the day our ancestors crawled in
Into caves and handling things
Weaving baskets and scavenging things
Making weapons and hunting deer
Building houses and making clear
Land to fit the image of man
Taking over what others had
Populating our earth so bad
That we turn our knowledge against our own
We build a weapon that is known
We kill ourselves with one big blow
Millions perish and set to ground
By orders above and orders around
So one point, which I say is quiet keen
Command and conquer, that’s all it’s been.
