LANCELOT's blog
interview
A moment ago
in the cracked mirror propped up with
over a hundred books borrowed frm various libraries (unread)
who are you?
friend or foe
dunno
state your name /age/rank
when darkness falls...
.....and between breaths
thoughts arrive dressed
in various shades of meaning.
to define what is feeling
from intellect can be a gruelling exercise
within the confines of head and heart
The Wind In The Peach Tree
The heavy breath in the wind
Dissolved the many peach blossoms.
I wondered about the health of the tree
And whether a full-blown peach
Would return this year?
There's A Newness In The Air.....
......That breathes beyond this modern age.
Holds hope in greater possibilities that can change our tomorrows.
The air in countless continents is filled with sorrows
Old House
Visted our old house yesterday
As dusk fell
It once held melodies of joy, laughter.
The spell of love and passion
Still lived on there
Though the garden I once tended with such care

Making The Poem
Between the last quarter of night
And light breaking but not yet
Between the sleeps of children
Between the pause in beats beneath the breastbone
I delve into an unread self where thoughts

Advice to Poets Young and Old
First, keep a watch on your blood that may
Leak obscene sentences on your skin. Pause
To regard yourself, use description carefully, and
Find new directions to keep the ink running. Persist
childhood....
When I was but eight
I would wait upon a special day
Waliking through ripening corn
Rippling in the early sun's morn
I would watch the big black gulls
Sail the ocean-blue sky seawards and
A Way of Life That Journey's Upon You......
To taste old age,you have to learn to recognise
New songs,in the color dark playing flesh and bones.
Then, there's a sort of joyless, forgetful state of mind
Moment of No Language
Here, before sky scrolled the day's face
Where sand and sea meet in slow ancient communion
There was a moment,-so to speak- of no language.
Only a soft-salted wind fills my cheeks.
Gods!!!!!!
I've just read through a number of blogs
I felt I was in the presence of GODS
One lady has' reads' that would make one
Feel here's a glorious rimer who sows words as weeds.

An Old Letter Sent To Bill Clinton On His Visit Here-1999
Dear Bill
I know you won't think me too familiar
On first name basis. I am the poet who
Penned a few lines of humor to you an your fine lady
Under The Fig Tree.......
........It whispers to me
the weight of years
like dark water.
I hear it breathe
runs through me to my roots.
I speak to a stone in stillness
and when I want to remember
Where is this?
Friendship..?
What I am about to say here is not
Meant to be decorative padding or vaguely enobling
To enhance a poem. Having read a moment ago
Some stanzas about a friend 'who has to go'?
