A Beauty so Deep
She represents a beauty so deep
A frienship that divdes
Love from lust
want from need
Not sure she see's
The want with in me
Two feelings not the same
Creates this world of pain
and a desire not to hurt
A desire to keep her free
keeping the pain inside of me
She is all things to me
so I hide the pain within
for a beauty so deep

there is a saying
it goes something like this the deeper sorrow carves the more joy it can contain. It's not an exact quote but your poem brought that to my mind. This is an interesting poem, there is a tenderness to the words. raskin
