Have you ever felt betrayed?
You thought you knew someone
Or so they say.....

When it comes,
You feel the pain
You only wish you could sustain...

You know your heart will eventually mend
But, until it does, you just pretend...

It is hard to fathom, I was taught this way
Not to rage and scream "Betray"

So instead, I ache inside
Trying to control the feelings I hide

But, you my friend
Shall never see
For I will swallow it and let it be......
