The sun had caught something gleaming,
So perfect and so bright,
She could not look away,
In spite of all of this light,

A treasure lay before her,
In a chest full of gold,
Washed ashore by fate,
To tell a story untold

One day she realized
That what she had received,
Was not only a treasure,
But something truly achieved

She fell in love with a boy,
Utterly perfect for her,
Impossible to believe,
That such a thing could occur,

The world goes around,
With much to suppose,
He kept her going,
Through the waves that arose

Love washed ashore that one summer day,
This left that one girl in utter dismay

She looked into his eyes,
So perfect and so round,
All she can think of,
Is what she had found

Such a treasure is perfect,
Nothing can compare
Not even the scent of the ocean,
Lingering in nature’s air

Was it really possible for this to exist?
The answer is yes and I really do insist

I happen to know the boy in this tale
He taught me one thing, that love will always prevail

My love for him does not have an end
Impossible for me to even comprehend

Every day is amazing and even the night,
In the end everything was going to be all right
