"Song Prayer"
Stumbling in the honty tonks,
singing the same ole songs.
Just living for the moment,
not concerned with any wrong,

but now my life is changing
singing in a different light,
praying that the words I say
will find eternal life,

lord , it’s hard for me explaining
harder yet to pray,
you know the songs I’m writing
and what I’m trying to say,,

let me bring them both together,
let them rejoice as one,
let me sing while thanking you
for the one you call your son.

You left your word to guide me
lord I’ve looked at every page,
you left me with a talent .
I use tonight on stage,
I offer you this song prayer
whether on or off my knees
singing of the hero , who ,prayed
and died on calvary..

You left your word to show me,
to teach me how to pray,
