are you broken?
forced to shake, to tremble
or are you trying to speak
in a room full of lights
all identical
all nonresponsive
you break out
I see you rattling away
I can try to ignore you
but you pester at my eyes
pounding out that rythmic flicker
you refuse to be subdued
like an annoying fly
buzzing about my ears
flickering in my eyes
