Lorrie had a Little Lamb
When I was just a little girl
Drifting off to sleep
The sandman sometimes needed help
So then I counted sheep
I loved those woolly faces
As cute as cute could be
So imagine my surprised delight
When they bought one home for me
Now Lorrie had a little lamb
And life had turned out swell
But Lorrie’s little lamb grew up
To be the sheep from hell
I don’t know when the change began
But one day it was there
That woolly face so dearly loved
Had gained an evil stare
Now Lorrie has a great big sheep
And she better best beware
For everywhere that Lorrie went
That bloody sheep was there
It stalked me here, it stalked me there
And every chance it saw
It knocked me flat upon the ground
I swear it felt like war
My father said he’d sort it out
And Mum gave him the hint
That Lorrie’s little lamb would be
Quite nice served up with mint
