There’s a river at the bottom of my garden
And all kind of creatures live there
There’s Pelican Pete
With his great big webbed feet
There’s a heron, a fox and a hare

There’s a river at the bottom of my garden
So it’s safe to assume you could catch
Some fishes with tails
And fins and some scales
And even some worms if you scratch

There’s a river at the bottom of my garden
So there shouldn’t be need but I wish
That Pelican Pete
With his great big webbed feet
Had not found my pond and goldfish
