Determination is....(quite possibly another rant)

Determination is quite obviously never giving up. Looking to the floor to see your blood mingling with the dirt and refusing to quit. Feeling the deepest and darkest despair in the world and grinning in spite of yourself. Falling down and refusing to stay there. Looking around the pit that you are in and refusing to settle, but to strive for something more. Hurting so bad in your body and in your bones that you don't know if you can keep going. And yet you take step after step, mile after mile, day after day. Oh people, why do we hurt so bad? The things that hurt us do not do anything more than motivate us to do whatever we need to or have to do. The folks that try to keep us down are nothing more than obstacles for us to negotiate. Right now, out there in the world, is a single mom crying herself to sleep. A daughter without a dad. A brother without a sister. When it gets tough, ask yourself this: how much worse can it get? I could tell you but it wouldn't do any good. We have all been through the rough country and back again. And all of us are even more beautifull than when we started this journey. We all carry the scars of our defeat, and our victories. We shout when we win, cry when we don't. It does not matter one little bit what race you are, what religion, what ever. We all have our trials and tribulations, and my words of encouragment to all that would hear. Never give up, never give in. And one day, just maybe, this world will be a lot better off than it is right now.

Author's note:
Even though there will be folks out there that don't want to hear this stuff, or whatever, i still want to say these things in as public of a place as i can so that just by some chance someone who is hurting can see these words and they will make a difference. The world is full of too many people who give up on one another.
