With these hands I have helped to protect a country that does not care about me. With these hands I have built the solemn promise of freedom for those who appreciate it, and for those who do not. With these hands I have pulled myself through pain and suffering to earn my right to own the Eagle, the Globe, and the Anchor. With these hands I have loved and honored my family the best I can. With these hands I have suffered the consequences of my actions, and celebrated every victory. With these gnarled and scarred hands I have built my future, while the past is in my mind and visible within each scar. With these hands I will work until my dying day, just as my father, and grandfather have done. And with these hands I will continue to show my faith in My God, My Country, and My Corps.
