I’ve fallen deep into your words
Been mesmerized by what I’ve heard
I’ve never met you or seen your face
Your words captured me in your embrace
You might not know I have you in mind
You “strike” me as a man that’s kind
I love to read your writing style
Of all the poems that you compile
You cuddle me with your every letter
Giving me advice to make me better
I look forward to hearing what you say
Every minute of every day
If I could stare into those romantic blues
I’d see a man I thought I already knew
Your words have made me feel a connection
And towards you I have this sweet affection
Your poem to me made me feel so warm
For the poem I wrote was not the norm
My writes had become a little risky
They even made me, feel somewhat frisky
I don’t know why you intrigue me so
It’s not because your poems they flow
I could tell right from the start
You are a man with a real big heart

Written purely on the fabric of your heart
That being said, this comment with ease I start
You bare your feelings for an unseen man, how sweet
Without knowing if he is fussy, messy or neat
Weight, height,or seasoned age,spring, summer or fall
Whether he is shaped like a gelatinous ball
Or built like a poured concrete wall
Not knowing what he may think of you, if at all
Brown, black, red, blond or gray, the color of his hair?
Perhaps no relevance at all, he may be bare
He has captured your attention, with words being sent
His words directed your way, that you trust are meant
The faith you enlist, a remarkable testament indeed
Perhaps he will respond to answer the questions you need
At present, without doubt you are beautifully inspired
A gentle strike from lightning is deserved and required
Your poem is memorable, uplifting and admired
May it embrace and flourish in the heart desired.
