Love Yourself First
I just love myself
I really do…
When I make someone happy
It feels so good
To do a nice thing
I just knew it would
When I look in the mirror
And my hair looks fine
And it came out nice
With lots of shine
That when i love myself
I really do…
If I see a meter
that reads “expired”
I take out a quarter
That’s all that’s required
That’s when I love myself
I really do…
When you help out a pal
When she is feeling low
Lift up her spirits
Make a call, say hello
That’s when I love myself
I really do….
It doesn’t take much at all
To help out and speak
To be kind, say a word
to someone who’s weak.
It will make you feel proud
If a friend you do bless
in a loving way
It’s their heart you’ll caress
What you must always do
Is love yourself first
Before anyone else
Then, love’s reimbursed.

Learn to love and respect yourself, and so many wonderful things follow, little effort , much of the time is required to help others,
and by helping others, the impact is much larger than most even imagine, being as this good deed is ideally passed on, and continues to live.
