Writers....B l o c k

It certainly wasn’t me…
Who invented writers block.
If I had my way
Id write poems all day
Instead, I watch the clock.

I wish it wasn’t me…
Who was drawing a blank
If I had my way
There’d be words all day
Like money in the bank

I hope it isn’t me
Who has lost her mind
If I had my way
I’d be smart all day
This wouldn’t be such a grind…..

But when you find the words...

you always find the right ones! Your poetry is lovely and you don't seem to have a block often! This poem is very
readable - it flows well, has nice rhyme and speaks of something all writers' run into! Keep up the good work, Linda.

What have you learned from me?

What have you learned from me? ... I thought Writers Block was where... Earnest Hemingway, David McCullough, John Stienbeck, Sidney Sheldon and Robert Frost lived!

This was reallly cute and fun!

I have to ask...

Doesn't a poem about writers block mean you weren't blocked at all? Things that make you go hmmm? This was cool to read because I love the irony of it. Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work!

Stay well, One love and God bless!

Writer's Block!

It's a son of a gun, but the key to sucessful writing is to just keep on writing, no other way around it. Don't let it get you down. Be persistant, and keep hammering away. And before you know it that annoying writer's block will crumble into a million pieces.
This was a wonderful poem and I really enjoyed it. I think you've already broken through.

Thanks TJ

I appreciate your comments! You said it in such a nice way. im going to keep hammering away!
I really love the way you write. keep it up!
thanks again
Linda
