Zabaglione
Zabaglione
by linda r. o'connell
Pale and yellow
fluffy clouds
of seduction
the arousing object
of my loves
affection
fresh egg yolks
are beaten
with fine sugar
to sweeten
whisking and whippings
so sensually driven
an Italian exotic
my mind all chaotic
foamy and thick
looking silky and slick
one splash of liqueur
can't be done any quickeur
making love to my lips
such an intimate trip
sliding down my throat
stimulations promote
tingles and wriggles
my body it giggles
begging for more
Zabaglione,
so... hardcore...

I'll Give You My Address
Linda,
Hell, I'll give you my address if you'll agree to send some of this sinful stuff my way. You have me salivating half way through the read.
Well done,
Pete
Funny!!!
Thanks pete for the compliment. it is a really nice treat this Zabaglione...so great on top of fresh raspberries, or on top of anything for that matter...
Linda

Mark...
my friends have been telling me for years i should make a cookbook...and now i have the poems...Great idea!!!
I could put in all the italian pesto poems, make up a great pesto recipe..and the "hot pepper" poem, and make up a red pepper brushcetta and the zabaglione, ,,even the "dark chocolate", and lets not forget "la Figa", i could do the fig and proscuitto/ marscarpone pizza... and the "juicy peach" LOL! omg, LOL
thank you Mark, maybe someday it will happen..and if it does, i will dedicate the book to you...
Linda
This reminds me of...
your "Red, Red Wine" poem, Linda. I loved that one and this one, too. Somehow you are able to mix food or drink with sensuousness and come up with a beautiful poem. Another great one!
Joyce
thanks joyce
yes, i guess it is a little like my, red, red wine poem. i guess when i write about food it just shows how much i love food...and love...they just seem to go together so well!
