The ground falls away so quickly
As I teeter upon the edge,
I Claw the cliff so desperately
My finger-tips are torn and red.
My descending cry of terror
Overwhelms the serene silence,
As I fall into the nether
Flailing the entire distance,
Below, jagged clusters of rocks
In a second, they shall impale,
Then my shriek so abruptly stops!
Heart pounding, I wake to the day.

It’s another nightmare again.
