GRAB THE PEN FROM THE POET
If life really is written
In the stars by those above,
Then every time you’re bitten
By the thing that they call love.
It’s fabricated for you
And you’re not meant to know it,
When you conclude this won’t do
Grab the pen from the poet.

If the life you are living
Seems to alter from its course,
And the more that you’re giving
The less it’s given, with force.
Should you accept, what happens?
To be the outcome of it,
Or go against the pattern
Grab the pen from the poet.

The decisions that we make
To guide us through existence,
Like give a little, then take
What gives the least resistance.
Is written down by authors
Who don’t really know of it,
When inspiration courses
Grab the pen from the poet.
