HEROISM VS. ALTRUISM
A man outnumbered one on two
Is mistakenly beaten,
Another man makes two to two.
They won bloodied but weakened.
A woman with a newborn child
Tries to wheel her shopping home,
A man tattooed with eyes so wild
Aids her, so she’s not alone.

Now I ask, is there really a schism?
Heroism verses altruism!

At war, comrades in jeopardy
Under fire, no cover,
No cultural disparities.
Wounded rescuing brothers.
A fiscal crisis, down and out
She turns to illicit drugs,
A victory gets offered, now
For the price of just a hug.

Heroism verses Altruism!
When should we be expecting! COLLISION?
