I LOVE (I HATE 2)

I love when nobility
Appears in common man,
Making generosity
Come from another hand.
I love when sincerity
Is truthful and heart-felt,
When superiority
Does not care what you’re dealt.

Now sometimes depression sets in
Like the religious cries above,
To those who never tasted sin
These are the things I find I love.

I love the inherent grace
Found in the world around,
Like a flower’s blooming face
Or thunder and it’s sound.
I love the thrill of the chase
However it may end,
When involvement in the race
Pays out the dividends.

If you ever speculated
That everything in life’s so tough,
Maybe you will be elated
When you discover, all I love.

I love the female figure
God’s best accomplishment,
I love Australia’s diggers
Their strength in detriment,
Will only become bigger
Over time, with insight,
With fingers on the triggers
For decency they fight.

Everyone finds things to adore
Like the purity of a dove,
And the freedom it’s flying for
Is one more thing I find I love.
***
I love all kinds of music
Punk, metal and country,
If it expresses logic
Then it’s all right by me.
Now all I have said is true
But the balance must stay,
For every one, there’s a two
That is the only way.
