IT’S JUST A JOB
*POLICE*
Protect and serve and investigate,
Reveal the proof to incarcerate,
Face the danger to alleviate
Your fears and concerns, still you hate,
When you call for help, and we don’t show
‘Till some time later, cause troops are low,
Saying we can’t help it, troops won’t grow
‘Cause it’s just a job, you’ve got to know.

*ARMY*
Battle and destroy and liberate,
Conquer tyrants, to emancipate,
War-broken shorelines, that devastate
The minds of our leaders, and our mates,
Then you spit at us, say you deplore
Everything that we’ve been fighting for,
So why should we even go to war?
‘Cause it’s just a job, and nothing more!

*MEDICAL*
Examine and heal and operate,
Work with all the germs, we incubate,
Sometimes we just, must perpetuate
The pain you’re feeling to get it straight,
You curse and insult, until it’s done,
Violent reactions…only from some,
Why would we bother? We must be dumb.
‘Cause it’s just a job, we all need one.

*FACTORY*
Manage and design and fabricate,
Teams of different people, will create,
Everything, at reasonable rates,
Given, that you can remain awake,
And earn a living without outbursts
And punch that clock, every morning, first,
Silently complain, “This is a curse”
Well it’s just a job, it could be worse.
