Racial Disharmony
You look at me disapprovingly
Who the hell do you think you are?
It’s a free world, I’m allowed to be
Anything that I’ve been so far,
I can’t believe that, you separate
Black and white from one another,
Surely, one day this blistering hate
Will vanish, so no-one suffers...
Such racial Disharmony,
Such intolerance,
Of another’s lineage
Just doesn’t make sense.
Are we all not made of blood and bone?
Just a pigment decides colour,
Do we always have to stand alone?
With a corresponding brother,
Or could sanity maybe prevail
Where we live as one, in union,
With hatred and bigotry derailed
And seen now as a delusion...
Of Racial disharmony,
Of such Acceptance,
Of anyone’s ancestry.
The right direction!
