SIGNS OF VICTORY
When combat ceases
And we move ahead,
When hate decreases
Cause we’re scared of death.
When faith does falter
And beliefs succumb,
When the load’s shouldered
It would seem, by one.

It should seem…. Hopeless!

When the advantage
Is returned to thee,
When the percentage
Is relinquished, free!
When the opponent
Becomes out-numbered,
When self-atonement’s
No more encumbered.

It should seem…. May be?

When one man cowers
And when one stands up,
When all that showers
Down upon all us,
Is love and courage!
And all man stands free!
When all disparaged
Sees the same as thee!

That’s the first sign of Victory!!!
