The Clown Parade

One by one
From the tiny car they come.
Two by two
Their enormous floppy shoes,
Three by three
Always acting so happy,
Four by four
Balloon animals and more,
Five by five
All the tiny bikes they ride.
Six by six
All their gaudy little tricks,
Seven by seven
From rodeo heaven
Eight by eight
With their ludicrous face paint.
Nine by nine
And they’re laughing all the time,
Ten by ten
They only eat you now and then.

“Welcome to The Clown Parade,
Remain inside the vehicle at all times
Although they seem friendly and subdued,
Remember what happens at ten.”
