The Crimson Way Of Life
Two fangs like straws dig in
The red menace now begins,
The night falls, roses die
In the pleasure of the night,
The light deceives the dark
Like a beating, piercing heart,
As the soul ushers on
It turns to dust in the sun.
A darkened and vampiric world; no light
Suffering torment of unending time,
Haunted by the wraiths of two hundred lives
As I feed, I see horror fill their eyes.
This back street… Where I hide
It’s the alley where I died,
Awaiting your footsteps
Lunge! And latch onto your neck.
Siphoning out the blood
Enamored in crimson floods
I cast your corpse aside
As I stride into the night.
Demonic, frozen, talons dig within
Removing that too which I feel akin,
My soul departs; it’s lost upon the wind
Becoming, blood burdened, walking in sin.
