Pathetic Smile (Chapter 1)
THIS WILL BE A CONCEPT PIECE
You know I trust you, you knew I trusted you
You knew I trusted you, so what did you do?
You know I trust you, you knew I trusted you
I was just a child tormented as I grew.
Such a perfect family life
With mother, father, brother,
Everything, in place just right
‘Till you became our neighbour,
You lusted after children
For myself and all my friends,
Using “Respect Your Elders”
As just a means to an end.
You know I trust you, you knew I trusted you
You knew I trusted you, so you did defile,
You know I trust you, you knew I trusted you
Now I’m just a scared, tormented little child.
No-one would believe a kid
And that’s how you kept us down,
But surprise... My mother did
Though no proof was ever found;
So you got away scot-free
Without a finger pointed,
Does the guilt ever emerge?
Castrated as, you’d want it.
You know I trust you, you knew I trusted you
You knew I trusted you! You knew I trusted you!!
You know I trust you, I’m the tormented child?
Now all that I see... is your pathetic smile.
