A Clue As To Who
So you want to know who I am
Well I’m not about to blab
But I may give you some clues
Or something useful you can use
There are girls out there that say
I’m not the other girls you date
I’m that girl that’s from your dreams
But I’ll tell you now that’s not me
Five feet tall, red hair, blue eyes
But they turn green when I cry
I’m usually quiet and reserved
But I can surely speak my mind
Right now, I’m going to say
I didn’t call you to complain
Just a simple text to say
Have a bright and sunny day
I’m the first that’s gonna ask
How has your day been
And I’ll sit back and listen
With sympathy or grins
I’m not qualified to judge you
But I’ll accept you for who you are
For everyone is different
People + Life = Art
I’m a bit peculiar
Now that I will admit
With a “Hippie” disposition
and a soul that won’t give in
So you say you want to know me
Come on now here’s your chance

Again, I enjoyed this little peek into who's on the monitor reading my comments and occasionally my postings. Having been and adult through most of the 60's and all of the seventies I can ascribe to some of the mindset you may have. And yes, somehow I remember those smoky days.
