Lyrical Limerick
Beds are not the best place to sing
There’s many places for bellowing
Turn on the stream
Wait for the steam
Strip down, hop in and start performing
At the mall, a song I adore
Playing in a popular store
They all stop to watch
I know I rock
They clap and I give them some more
Elevators are good places too
Soft music, but I know the tune
Though others will hum
I’ll be the one
Singing loudly to god knows who
So you see the songs in my soul
And I sing everywhere that I go
So if you’re near by
Don’t be surprised
If I lose control and get vocal

No Performance Stress for You
Nell,
One would get the idea that you are just a wild child and you know what, there ain't a thing wrong with that if you can stand the staring.
Now these were close to limericks. I'm going to get techical on you now so don't get mad at me. To be acutual limericks they must follow a strict syllabic count that goes as such: Line (1) 8 syllables, Line (2) 8 syllables, line (3) 5 syllables line (4) 6 syllables and finally line (5) 8 syllables. So, yoiu see you were close but if you want them to be genuine limericks you're going to have to tinker with them a bit.
The master has spoken!
Luv ya,

I can get pretty wild sometimes, but I have a docile side too. Thank you for the poetry lesson! Tinkering is exactly what I had in mind...I knew you'd give me the input I needed.

your singing talent...
definitely carries over to your poetry. You can hear the music in every line. Excellent poem. I enjoy your work a lot!
