There was once a maiden that once had a lover that always seemed to lie.
Days and days went slowly by and yet he did not return to her side.
The maiden waited for him always by the shoreline hoping his ship would soon port.
But, he left her you see, for a woman who lives across the sea.
One day the maiden went to a village near where she and her lover had once lived.
And, who does she see but her lover in the arms of another.
Which shocking enough happens to be the maiden’s stepmother?
