sojourner in schmegegeeland.
Cyber demons all around me.
Fighter 'gainst a horrid band.

Blogland seems a right wing haven
Liberals are hard to find.
I was beset by men most craven,
ne'er to hear a word that's kind.

"Liar!", "Traitor!", "Youth's Misleader!"
"Greasy Weasel!", "God's own foe!"
This and other things they called me.
some were worse, I'll have you know.

"Jack" be "nimble", Jack be quick,
Jack could really be a (well),
"Mexicans", he said "are termites!
Lynching is a proper trick."

"Fedupsoutherner", not so bad
As those of Jack's own racist ilk.
Conservative, yes, that I'll grant you.
But matched to Jack, as mild as milk.

The man "5minutes", he's another.
Like Dr. House he claims to be
But House he has, unlike 5 minutes
More brains than does a bumblebee.

"Whiffochaos" is another
who often comments on my thoughts.
But when he writes, what I'm a' whiffin
smells like it fell out of a hoss.

Their comments now and then show insight,
I will not say they're dumb as hay.
For even clocks that stop their runnin'
are proven right, say, twice a day.

I will return there. Someone must,
for from the fight I shall not shrink.
