From cyberspace it came without warning ,

Into every port they slipped in undetected ,

I remember being bombed , I remember being scared ,
I can ever remember walking away .

I remember being shot at . I remember someone said ,

Across the trees of Lebanon fires raged as the sparks of war flew through an angry wind into a black and a worried sky .

Who really can say where the hooded men are
and what their questioning is trying to prove.

With the isolation of interrogation
handcuffs are there to restrict you to move .

No where to hide as another year is just ready to leave.

No fireworks to see ,

no parties to go to on on new years eve .

No surprises there shall be no reprisals in what I see .

I promise that my new years resolutions will make the world a far better place.

I am looking at some changes
that I'm sure will benefit the whole human race .

This year is another part of a journey for me in the human race .

I'm taking 12 personal steps towards making the world a better place.

On the first day of Christmas my employer offered me a big cut in my annual salary .

On the second day of Christmas the boss said to me I’m cutting back cost’s of running this company .

I searched and searched for hours
to find a Christmas card for you .
I read each verse with its message
and looked at the picture too .
The glitter covered cards where nice ,

Christmas can be hard to bear ,
when no one seems to care .
Then as your sanity goes ,
don’t forget that Jesus knows .
Christmas can be a hard time ,
with many things on your mind .

Christmas is for the children ,
Christmas is for the men ,
Christmas is for the Mums ,
what would we do without them .
Christmas is that special treat with lots of nice things to eat .

One of the things Grandma had was poliomyelitis ,

that's polio for short you know .

On the mantle piece where all these bottles of tablets lined up .

Just like soldiers in a row .
