Belated Thanks

I forgot to thank you after I left home ,

I rushed to ring you up on the telephone ,

When no one answered I returned back to home ,

When I went inside I was in there alone .

So I went out to buy you a special card ,

to say I love you as a romantic bard .

I just wanted to say thanks poetically .

Accept my thanks though it comes belatedly

If I forget say thanks or I'm not there ,

don't think that I don't want you or I don't care ,

I need you to see how much you mean to me ,

thank you for your innocence and beauty ,

thank you for the daily communication ,

thank you for all of your appreciation ,

thank you for the children you brought into life ,'

thank you for being my lover and wife .
