Dancing With The Blues

When I’m paying my debts and counting the cost ,
When I’m being left out and looking so lost ,
When I’m hurting deep down where blood starts to ooze ,
That’s when I go dancing with the blues .

When I’m begging for mercy and nothing changed ,
When time after time people tell me I’m strange ,
When I’m shaking in fear with nothing to loose
That’s when I go dancing with the blues .

When I’m misunderstood and no one cares less ,
When nothing goes right and its all a big mess ,
When all that I get is the same old bad news ,
That’s when I go dancing with the blues .

When I’m dancing with the blues I feel all right .
I’m breaking the chains that keep me bound up tight .
When I’m dancing with the blues I’ll jump and shout .
I’ll dancing until the blues have worn themselves out .
