New Years Resolutions

I promise that my new years resolutions will make the world a far better place.

I am looking at some changes
that I'm sure will benefit the whole human race .

As the old year now is at an end,
I've taken time to reflect on what has been .
I admit I don't like some things I've seen, so I'm going to rearrange the scene .

So in the year ahead I am not going to keep making the same old mistake .

Instead of being a slave to other peoples ignorance I will educate .

Instead of finding hatred and scorn
I will discover some people who are nice .

I will give more of what I usually have to take and I what I mean is advice .

I will keep smiling and try to encourage all those around me to do the same.

Even when those around me are going mad, I will be positive and stay sane .

I will exchange nothing in return for all the negative things that I am told .

I will stay young and happy as others I know begin to grow grumpy and old .
