Older people have so much knowledge
Some didn't go to school or stay in college
They've been through histoy and their own life stories Seen some people fall and some have their glories
People don't take the time to know their generations
But to me they are inspirations
take time to read to them and share in their lives
Keep them feeling young and staying alive
Tell them you care
And that you will always be there
Make them feel happy and chase away their blues
Listen and learn what they've been through
Because one day it won't be them it will be you
