Clock on the wall

Greg put the clock on the wall

the clock ticked its way thru seasons,
keeping time for its master
no one noticed it much as the hours stole away
thru summer ,to winter and then spring it held its sway
until oneday by its diligence
it became the master and Greg its slave

love it

I loved this one Mimi
My doesnt the time fly!
yes we do seem to watch the clock too much and are slaves to time itself, a good subject written well hugs from Willow

Very Insightful

mimi,

The wording of this piece was wonderful in that it showed how time can become a controlling factor so easily that one never notices the enslavement. Sweetheart, there's no way that you are naive'.

How profound

I love this Mimi... As a slave to time I have tried everything to manage it... It seems we have all these time saving technology but we spend more time trying how to work all the new gadgets and by the time we learn how to use them they are obsolete ... Great poem!
